PVC window profiles / frames
With its specially tuned properties, SCHAEFER PRECARB^® contributes significantly to the improvement of optical properties such as whiteness, gloss and surface finish, mechanical properties such as notched impact strength, and to the weathering durability of PVC window profiles. As a result, window frames require less frequent cleaning, have a longer service life and retain their high-quality appearance over the long term.

Lime product applications

Calcium stearates, salts of stearic acid or also called lime soaps, are used, among other things, for the production of stabilizers for plastics. Other applications are: As lubricants for pharmaceutical products, as lubricants in the paper and metal processing industry and as a water repellent for building materials. SCHAEFER PRECAL^® 54 and SCHAEFER PRECAL^® 56 are preferred for the production of calcium stearates due to their chemical purity, reactivity and particle fineness.
